Chief Financial Officer
Stacey Ricks has worked with Gregory Ricks & Associates since its incorporation and has played a pivotal role in its success. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Upon graduation, Stacey worked as an Auditor for Arthur Andersen, a “Big 8” Accounting Firm. She has been in the accounting industry for 24 years. Although Stacey has served in many different capacities at Gregory Ricks & Associates, she is currently the Chief Financial Officer where her responsibilities include supervision of the accounting function.
In 2012, Stacey Ricks became the founder and director of Women Winning at Life. WWAL is a Gregory Ricks & Associates sponsored program that focuses on educating women on making informed and beneficial choices for themselves since the majority will be their family’s primary financial decision maker at some point in their lives. The program stresses how the financial needs of women on their own are different than those of a married couple.
Stacey resides in Metairie with Gregory, the triplets Luke, Lance, and Emily and Sandy, the family maltipoo. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading and traveling.
A graduate of Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Sophie Landry joined Gregory Ricks & Associates in 2012 as the Team Accountant upon accepting her diploma. Her talents are directed toward compliance coordination and the accounting function of managing income, expenses, and bookkeeping/reporting in QuickBooks.
Sophie is married and resides in Paincourtville, LA with her husband Ken and their son, Drake. She enjoys shopping and spending time with family and friends.
Client Service Associate
Tori joined the Gregory Ricks & Associates team in 2015. Tori’s primary role is client assistance, ensuring internal and external customers receive impeccable service at all times. She helps clients with questions, follows up on inquiries, transfers/rollovers, problem resolution, and any other assistance that clients may need on new business. Tori works closely with the team to ensure the efficiency of each area of our new business department, including answering phone calls and processing new applications.
Tori lives in Kenner and enjoys playing volleyball and other outdoor sports.
Client Service Associate
Catherine is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA with a Bachelors in Business Administration. Her primary duties include processing new applications, annuity reallocation’s, contract management, and case prep. She recently joined Gregory Ricks & Associates and focuses on communicating with clients to answer questions, schedule appointments, and also welcomes them to meetings.
She is married to her husband Chris and resides in Kenner with their two children, Cole and Madison. Catherine played the flute for 8 years in grade school and enjoys attending Saints games and family outings throughout the city.
Abby Brynn Gortney
Abby joined the Gregory Ricks & Associates team in 2017. Her main objective is to increase brand awareness by producing and presenting industry-related materials to the public. She manages the “Winning at Life” mobile app and the various social media outlets. She also handles the marketing campaigns, company events, and publications, such as the weekly blog posts, “The Ricks Report”, and the company newsletter. In addition, she also has a hand in the Client Services department by taking in-bound calls, scheduling appointments, and providing daily administrative support.
Abby moved to New Orleans in 2009 and is a 2008 graduate of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts. She also has a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Independence University. She enjoys spending time with her two dogs: Levee and Krewe, creating art, and exploring the city.
